Head Coach Jeremie Cook: In addition to his head coaching duties, Coach Cook oversees the youth “Warriors” wrestling program. He is a 2006 VHS graduate and former VHS wrestler.  He wrestled in college at Lock Haven University, PA (2007-2011) where he was a collegiate team captain and 2007 D1 NCAA Qualifier. Coach Cook set numerous records at VHS that still stand today. At VHS, he was a 3x District Champion, 3x Regional Champion, 4x State Qualifier, 2x State Champion (2005 & 2006) and a High School All American (2006).

Assistant Coach Devin Balsinger:  In addition to his assistant coaching duties, Coach Balsinger is also involved with coaching the youth program “Warriors” wrestlers.  Coach Balsinger is a 2010 VHS graduate and a former VHS wrestler. Coach Balsinger’s VHS wrestling accomplishments include District Champion, District Runner-Up, and 3x Regional Qualifier.

Assistant Coach Jon Hodge:  Coach Hodge is a former Venice Wrestler. Coach Hodge was a District Runner up and Regional Qualifier.

Volunteer Assistant Coach Charles Macnamara: Coach Mac was Head Coach at Beach Grove for 39 yrs. Head Coach at ST. Charles for 4 Yrs. Is in the Indiana Wrestling Coaches Hall Of Fame and the Beach Grove Athletic Hall of Fame.

Volunteer Assistant Coach Josh Howard:  Coach Howard is a former Palmetto Wrestler. Coach Howard was a District Runner up and Regional Qualifier. He is also a currently a Youth Pastor at First Baptist.

Volunteer Assistant Coach Pat Ryan: Coach Ryan previously served as VHS Wrestling Head Coach for 8 years before retiring. Prior to that, he was an assistant VHS Wrestling coach for 20 years under Coach Dan Kelly.  He is a 1991 graduate of Venice High and a former VHS wrestler.  As a VHS wrestler, Coach Ryan was a 2x District Champion and 2x State Qualifier. 

Warriors Youth Wrestling Coach Brent Smallwood:  Coach Brent is a 2017 VHS graduate. Prior to wrestling all four years during high school, Coach Brent wrestled in our youth program. As a high school wrestler, Coach Brent also volunteered countless hours helping coach our youth team. Coach Brent placed 2nd at the FHSAA State Wrestling Tournament his senior year. He was also a team captain, 2x District Runner-Up, 2x State Qualifier, an AAU All-American, recipient of the team MVP award, and holds numerous other records and awards.
